My name is Danny Bruce and I have skills I can offer to anyone running a small to medium business, (because I have owned and operated my own small company), which allows me to understand the pressures involved in keeping the Accountant happy!   So let me help you out with the bookkeeping side of your business – I love crunching numbers and am accurate with my results.

PERSONAL

My wife Nikki and I moved to Plummers Point in 1996 and are still here today because we both really enjoy the life style. We raised three boys who all went to Omokoroa No. 1 School and then on to college however they’ve all moved on to bigger and better things. When the boys were small, we became actively involved in their local sports and hobbies like Omokoroa Football Club.   During this time, I also took on several roles as a coach, committee member, and eventually president of the club for a couple of years plus I was involved with the Omokoroa Pahioa Sea Scouts, a committee member and leader of the cub section. 

BACKGROUND 

Over the years I have worked for different Contractors in a variety of roles.   In between, I bought and ran my own small similar company which is where I came to understand the pressures of owning a business, working long hours and then returning home to price jobs, sorting out wages and trying to stay on top of the bookwork to pay GST, PAYE.   Later, I worked for Matrix Corporation Limited in their accounting section where I learnt about the preparation of financial accounts, data input, reconciliations, journals and producing financial accounts. I looked after the accounting/bookkeeping for three businesses that were under the umbrella of Matrix Corporation Limited (Mass Communication, Mass mobility, and Mass Alarms).

Years later, I switched to Walton Railton & Co Limited as an Accounting Technician where I honed my skills in GST, PAYE, tax returns and end of year accounts. After nearly five years for Walton Railton, I returned to the commercial arena working for DMS Progrowers Limited to produce monthly accounts and other accounting functions as required.
